Mailing Services

Sending a printed piece in the mail requires a knowledge of the postal system and their requirements. We can help you choose the direct mail format that will bring you the best results.

Direct Mail

Direct mail targets your specific audience using mailing lists or your own customer data. Recipients are targeted by location, location, gender, age, education, income, and occupation. Direct mail typically has a 4.4% response rate vs 1% for EDDM. Targeted mail pieces are not limited by size or quantity restrictions. This allows for designs with special folds, coatings, and larger sizes and personalization with the recipient’s name or a custom message. Direct mail is best if you have a specific audience in mind, EDDM is better for spreading brand awareness to a general audience.

Bulk Mail

Bulk mailing is a cost-effective way to get the word out about your product, service, or event. Bulk mail has a lower price-per-piece, ability to target specific demographics, format flexibility, and ability to add samples or coupons. Booklet Mailers, Self Mailers and Post Cards are products that work well for bulk mail. You will need to pay the annual mailing fee for a mailing permit.

You will need to ship at least:

  • 500 pieces for First-Class Mail

  • 200 pieces (or 50 pounds of mail) for Standard Mail

  • 50 pieces for Parcel Select (also known as Standard Post)

  • 300 pieces for Presorted or Carrier Route Bound Printed Matter

  • 300 pieces for Library Mail

  • 300 pieces for Media Mail

EDDM Mailings

Use Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) to promote your small business in your local community. All Every Door Direct Mail mail pieces must have the entire mailing label on the "top half" of the mail piece. The orientation of the label, whether it's applied on the long or short side, does not matter (except that labels placed parallel to the shortest end must not be upside down). The shortest end will always be the top half of the piece. Length is always the longest side.
